Omg. Finally. The last time I came to Bi-Rite was over three years ago. After multiple failed attempts to find parking this past year, I had given up. HOWEVER, this time, we were successful. We got the medium, which comes with 2-3 flavors. We got the following: Honey Lavender, Birthday Cake, and Balsamic Strawberry. Every flavor met my expectations (the honey lavender provided an aromatic bite with a perfect amount of sweetness; the birthday cake was delicious with chewy bites of chocolate cake and sprinkles; the balsamic strawberry lacked a tangy element due to the balsamic element, but it was refreshing).
Service was fine. I liked how cute the interior as well as the merch was.
Best caramel in the state and great soft serve.the people are so nice.if you sit inside it's a great place for you to wait.
Absolutely delicious ice cream, hard to get much better really. Had the salted caramel and the cookies and cream. A small is more than enough for one. Perfect flavors.
Also just want to give a shout-out to the ice cream scooper, can't remember his name but had a tattoo sleeve and long hair pulled into a ponytail. Incredible energy and just super friendly guy. Dealing with so many indecisive people on ice cream flavors must be brutal. This guy is a gem.
My wife introduced me to Bi-Rite years ago, and I am glad she did. I was surprised to see the line wrapped all the way around the corner and half a block down. That is crazy, for ice cream!?! Well, let me tell you, the line does move quicker than you think.
They have artisan ice cream here. The textures and flavors are unique, but some are your typical classics. They provide samples as well!
We enjoyed Coffee Toffee, Creme Brulee, Roasted Banana, Salted Caramel, Honey Lavender, and Cookies & Cream. They have seasonal flavors to try also. I think you will find something you like here.
Parking is a challenge! So, be patient.
The birthday cake ice cream is delicious with a great location next to mission Delores park! Lots of fun flavors, many classics and a few more unique ones. Overall a good ice cream spot but not my #1 in SF
The best ice cream in SF, I've been to Bi-Rite a few times and it never fails. Ricanelas is my favorite ice cream flavor ever. Also the customer service is the best, they are the nicest and let you try any flavor. It's also so efficient when there's a line.
Still one of my favorite ice cream spots after all these years.
Way back then, they use to have Earl Grey. So good.
Now I stick to my Honey Lavender and Malted Vanilla.
Stopped by this warm evening and picked up a small cup of my usual and a pint of Peach Cobbler for the boyfriend. Got home, opened it, AND IT WAS MALTED VANILLA!

This place is becoming my new favorite stop for ice cream cravings. They have a lot of great flavors, but my favorite so far is the tiramisu, which has bits of cake(?) in it. I know that makes it sound like it would be overly sweet, but it's just right! Has a good amount of coffee flavor as well. Some other flavors I would recommend are the creme brulee and the ube sourdough.
Everytime my man and i come here, we get serviced by the same guy and he's always full of energy + warm and welcoming. Overall great place
